About My Place Or Yours
My Place Or Yours is a spicy-sweet aromatic eau de parfum for men, inspired by Stronger With You by Emporio Armani. It is short on notes and long on effect, which is exactly how the best modern fragrances work.
Cardamom leads, and it leads loudly. There is something green and almost minty about good cardamom, and here it is paired with pink pepper and violet leaf so the opening crackles rather than sparkles. It smells like a spice market rather than a fruit bowl, and that restraint is what keeps the whole composition from becoming childish.
Sage runs through the middle, herbal and dry, holding the spice in place while the base warms up underneath. Then chestnut arrives, and this is the note that makes people ask questions. Roasted, nutty, slightly caramelised, it sits somewhere between food and perfume, and vanilla rounds it into something genuinely comforting.
It is a fragrance built for close quarters. Ours is marginally less sweet. The pink pepper stays visible for longer, which keeps the first hour spicier, and our vanilla is softer and less gourmand in the dry-down. The original carries more of a caramelised sugar impression; ours leans nutty and warm instead. Both are close-wearing after the first two hours, and both last comfortably through an evening. My Place Or Yours has a similar character to that fragrance and is inspired by it, but the composition and its balance are entirely our own.

When to wear it
Cold weather makes this one. Winter nights, autumn evenings, anything that involves a jumper and low lighting. It is a date fragrance more than an office one, though a single spray is discreet enough for a winter workday. Apply three sprays to the neck and chest before you dress.
