About We Belong
We Belong is a lush floral-woody eau de parfum for women, inspired by Modern Muse by Estée Lauder. It is a fragrance of two halves that meet in the middle very gracefully.
The opening is light and dewy. Mandarin gives a soft citrus brightness and dewy petals add a fresh, watery floral quality, so the first few minutes feel clean and green rather than rich. It is a gentle way into a fragrance that is anything but.
The heart is where the flowers take over completely. Tuberose is creamy and heady, lily is cool and waxy, honeysuckle nectar adds a golden sweetness, and jasmine sambac deepens it all with a rich, tea-like warmth. It is a generous, glowing bouquet that keeps unfolding for hours.
The base turns it woody and warm. Patchouli provides earth, Madagascan vanilla adds a creamy sweetness, amberwood gives a smooth modern warmth, and musk holds everything close. This second half is what makes the fragrance feel contemporary rather than traditional.
Wear it in spring and autumn, by day or evening, to work, dinners, celebrations and dates. Three sprays. It is a good choice for anyone who loves white florals but wants something with a firmer woody finish, and it wears beautifully on both younger and older skin. If the opening seems too delicate for your taste, wait an hour: the amberwood and patchouli underneath are where the fragrance truly settles.

If you love Modern Muse by Estée Lauder, We Belong shares its DNA in the dewy citrus opening, the enormous jasmine and tuberose heart and the patchouli, vanilla and amberwood base that gives the original its distinctive two-part structure.
Ours is slightly sweeter through the base. The Madagascan vanilla is more generous in our dry-down, softening the woods, where the original keeps a drier, more structured finish. Our honeysuckle also adds a golden nectar quality through the middle. Both last around seven to eight hours with good projection in the first two. We Belong is inspired by that fragrance and has a similar character, but it is an original composition rather than a reproduction of it.

When to wear it
Spring and autumn suit it best, and it carries comfortably from daytime into evening. It works at the office, at dinners, at celebrations and on dates, which makes it a versatile choice for the mid-seasons. Three sprays at the throat and wrists, applied to moisturised skin so the amberwood holds. The 50ml at R120 is the practical size for regular wear.

Is it too floral for someone who prefers woody scents?
The second half is firmly woody, with patchouli and amberwood doing most of the work. If you give it an hour, it becomes much more woody than the opening suggests.
How long does it last?
Seven to eight hours on skin, longer on clothing. The amberwood and vanilla base is tenacious, so an application in the morning usually carries into the evening.
Which age does it suit?
It works across a wide range. The dewy opening keeps it youthful and the woody base gives it enough gravity to suit someone who has worn perfume for years.
